Intergenerational Community Centre Paul Houette
The Paul Houette Intergenerational Community Centre project is located in the Bellevue Garden neighbourhood in Meudon, near Paris. The tree-filled site has a mature garden character, with large lime trees gracefully framing the new building. The landscape project aims to transform this garden into a lush, thriving forest, with enriched soil that is irrigated by water retention systems to prevent dry seasons, and newly planted islands featuring native and edible species. Access by car or bike is both straightforward and well-integrated into the surrounding urban fabric. A meandering pedestrian path gently crosses the area, inviting visitors to the tranquil gardened forest.
